How to Clean your Falsies
Washing your eyelashes for reuse is an excellent cost saving method. By properly cleaning your false eyelashes after each cheer or dance competition, you can significantly extend their lifespan as well as removes dirt, oil, makeup residue that can accumulate on your lashes. Keeping your eyelashes clean can reduce the risk of eye infections and alleviate irritants.
Begin cleaning your false eyelashes by removing any glue from the band of the eyelashes. The easiest way to remove glue is by using tweezers to gently lift the adhesive from the band. If there’s stubborn lash glue that won’t come off, you can use an oil-based eye makeup remover on a Q-Tip to break it down, just like you would to remove eye makeup.
Once all of the eyelash glue is removed, you can clean your falsies. This step will remove any residual makeup that are on the lashes.
Place your false eyelashes on a paper towel, then saturate a Q-Tip with the our Micellar Cleansing Water. Gently wipe the band and the fibers of the false lashes to remove any mascara, eye shadow and excess oils. Repeat this process until the lashes are completely clean.
Store in a clean dry container until next use.
